The other night I bought the Windows version of Ticket to Ride through Steam for only $4.99. Great deal (Europe, Asia, and other boards cost extra). You can play a full game in about a third of the time it takes to play the board game. But after Roman saw me play it on the computer, he wanted to play the board game, which we did with Julie and Grace last night. I won, but Grace did a great job coming in 2nd. In fact, had Roman simply taken a turn towards the end and not draw tickets, I would not have completed two routes and probably would have lost. Nothing beats playing it with a board and real people, even though you can play people online. I just wish Julie would let us play with monsters.
